This will save the cost of building. Inspection Only When NecessaryThe primary circuit of the N2S switchgear is very reliable. All high voltage elements are completely sealed from ambient air and therefore not influenced by the environment. Any accidents caused by congeal dew, dust, small animals or chemical vapors are excluded forever. The VEG vacuum circuit breaker used in this switchgear combines the most modern vacuum interrupter technology; the LSR embedded pole design and a reliable driving mechanism so that highest breaking currents up to 40KA and a high reliability are achieved. The vacuum circuit breaker pole is reliable for the life-time of the switchgear. Safe and Easy OperationThe two separate gas tanks of the N2S design are each filled with the insulating gas. The separation between the bus bar tank and the circuit breaker gas tank provides safety and offers a large variety of combinations. When replacing a single feeder, other neighbor panels and the main bus bar can remain in service. The panels can easily be connected to each other by a bus bar connection system, through direct plug-in installation. N2S switchgear cubicles function safely and simply: the circuit breaker and the three position switch can be operated manually or by a motor drive; there is a reliable mechanism-interlock between the circuit breaker and three position switch to ensure the safe operation. As it is very reliable, the circuit breaker is fixed mounted and does not need to be withdrawable. High QualityThe body of the gas tank is manufactured by laser cutting and 3D laser welding process. After assembly all gas tanks are checked for leaking by a helium leakage detecting system. The design of the gas tanks is tuned to the laser manufacturing process and they are gastight for the lifetime. Copper bus bar, cable bushing, bus bar bushings, vacuum circuit breaker, three position switch and others are integral components of the gas tanks. Main components such as voltage transformers, surge arresters and others provide dielectrically sealed plug-in connections. The control of the operations, the protection, the measuring and the communication of the panel is provided by a digital relay and auxiliary switches, sensor components etc. |
